Graceful Speech and Swallow Solutions was founded in Portland, Oregon and is one of the few boutique speech pathology practices that specializes in adult neurological rehabilitation servicing Oregon.
Our mission is to provide accessible, speech and swallow services to those who want to reach their communication and/or swallowing goals.

Meet the Founder
Founder:
Deshka Ramirez, MS, CCC-SLP
Deshka Ramirez, MS, CCC-SLP received her Bachelor’s of Arts in Communication Disorders at California State University of Long Beach and her Master’s of Science in Speech and Hearing Science at Portland State University.
She has been passionate about servicing adults after stroke, brain injury, or with neurological disease since her undergraduate studies. Therefore, she has specialized experience as a speech-language pathologist working multiple medical settings in the Portland, OR area and Los Angeles, CA area including outpatient clinics, teletherapy, hospitals, nursing facilities, and home care. In these settings, she has gained specialized experience providing neurologic speech, swallow, and cognitive rehabilitation.
She currently holds state licenses in both Oregon and California and is certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).
